About Me

Hi, I’m Curtis—a wedding, couples, and family photographer passionate about capturing timeless, natural moments filled with love, joy, and connection. Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, I bring my heart and soul into preserving the beauty of your wedding day.

For me, photography is more than just taking pictures; it’s about building a relationship with my clients. Being entrusted to document memories is a privilege I don’t take lightly. I’ve found that the connection between a photographer and their clients is unlike any other. It’s this bond that inspires my work and makes every session or wedding I photograph deeply meaningful.

A Moment that Changed Everything

Two years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda & Evan. They had reached out to me about photographing their engagement and wedding and from that first phone call we clicked. They pitched the wild idea of going to Colorado to capture their engagement photos and we went for it! It was probably the most memorable and most fun engagement session I've ever done. Early the next year, I photographed their wedding, having built a relationship with them over the course of 6 months or so it made their wedding day that much more special. Instead of watching two strangers get married I was watching two friends enter a covenant together. Sharing those milestones with them profoundly impacted how I approach my craft. It made me realize that building a genuine relationship with my clients helps me tell their story more authentically. I’m not just there to take pictures; I’m emotionally invested in preserving memories.

What Photos Mean & Why Relationships Matter

My goal as your photographer is simple: when you look at your photos, I want you to feel every emotion you experienced on your wedding day—love, happiness, and pure joy. To ensure this, I work closely with each couple to curate a custom photography timeline, communicate consistently, and make sure every moment you want is beautifully captured.

I believe your photographer should be more than just another vendor. After all, you’ll spend more time with me on your wedding day than almost anyone else! That’s why I prioritize getting to know you—your love story, your dreams, and your vision for your big day. All my wedding packages include engagement photos because they’re a perfect opportunity to connect, have fun, and get comfortable in front of the camera.

Through meaningful conversations and interactive prompts, I help even the most camera-shy couples relax and enjoy the process. By focusing on your love for each other, I ensure your photos reflect genuine emotion and personality.

My Life Beyond the Lens

When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m spending time with my beautiful wife Alana, our son Carter, and our two dogs, Nakoa and Leia. Watching my son grow has given me a renewed perspective on the importance of preserving memories—it’s a gift I’m honored to give my clients.

I also work as a Project Manager and enjoy woodworking in my spare time. Balancing these roles with my photography business can be challenging, but my faith keeps me grounded. Trusting God has provided me with the energy, strength, and direction to navigate this journey while prioritizing my family.

I’d love to be that photographer for you. Let’s build a connection and create timeless memories together.
